Jacob Thomas Carr is a multi-hyphenate creator based in NY. He is the founder of HOWL™ (www.howlvoicemethod.com) - a cross disciplinary coaching platform and resource for the contemporary singer. Current music projects include launching country/electronic/grunge band Lonehorse, with a debut single coming out soon. Adjunct faculty at NYU Tisch School of Arts New Studio on Broadway and The New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts where he teaches private voice lessons and classes in vocal performance. As a music director & pianist he has worked on 100+ productions/shows/concerts. Collaborations have included work with Tony Award winners/nominees such as Ben Vereen, Josh Young, Adam Pascal, Kevin Chamberlin, and many others. Vocal director with Celebrity Cruise Lines, based in Miami FL. Producer on indie duo JoClair’s album Signs of the Second Coming, currently available on all streaming platforms. His fashion photography has been featured in Artells, Selin, Marika, Vigour, and Malvie magazines. A classically trained musician, he now works primarily in commercial music & musical theater. Former adjunct faculty at Sam Houston State University. He has a B.M. in music theory & composition from Sam Houston State University, and is also a proud graduate of The Esper Studio where he studied acting with Bill Esper. A lover of the outdoors, natural movement, and partner dance, he likes being barefoot and aims to never have a morning without butter coffee. In the words of F.M.
